Everything about the Glue BalmUpdated 14 days ago

Does the balm dry quickly on the lashes?
No, the balm does not dry completely during the treatment, because it is a balm and the eyelashes are nourished with the oils.

How many treatments can I do with the Balm?
It varies, about 30 - 40 treatments.

What is the best way to apply the Balm?
Step 1: Thoroughly clean & degrease eyelashes and eyelid.

Step 2: Apply silicone pads (e.g. the self-adhesive silicone pads)

Step 3: Spread some balm with a brush on the silicone pad (really only thin)

Step 4: Take up some balm again with the brush and now fix the lashes to the silicone pad (step by step and not too much balm)

Step 5: After completely fixing the lashes to the silicone pad, use the Y-Tool or Lashlift Tool again to comb the lashes smoothly and straight upwards away from the pad (the lashes should now lie neatly and individually combed upwards on the pad)

Step 6: Then, using a cleansing wand, brush away excess Glue Balm from the lash line to the tips with a little pressure (remove excess balm and press the lashes to the pad one last time)

Step 7: Apply the first lotion, let it soak in and then carefully, carefully remove the lotion with a dry cotton swab (do not let the lotion touch the tips of the lashes - this can lead to an incorrect result). Make sure that only 1/3 of the lashes are covered with lotion, so that the lashes are still 2/3 free of lotion and the balm still has strength to hold the lashes. TIP: if during the application of the lotion some lashes have come loose, you can directly put a hand stretch foil on the lashes and thus fix the lashes for support.

Step 8: If, after removing the lotion, some lashes have come loose, you can easily fix the lashes to the silicone pad again with a small microbrush and some balm (we recommend using a fan to help the lashes dry a bit).

Step 9: After the lashes are fixed again, you can apply the second lotion, let it work, then remove it and tint the lashes.

Step 10: Treat the lashes with our Double Filler and blow dry with a fan.

Step 11: Sell your customer the "Lash & Brow Plex" for the care of the lashes.

How should the balm be stored?
Dry & preferably cool! We recommend to put the balm in the fridge 30-45 minutes before the treatment.

Why do the eyelashes come off with the balm?
For some, the problem is that the customer's eyelashes are too short. The balm is an alternative to glue and is a "balm" that does not dry completely. This means that the eyelashes always have some flexibility. To prevent the lashes from coming off the pad, the right pad size must be chosen before fixing the lashes. Afterwards, the lotion must not be pulled up too high and should only cover 1/3 of the lashes. This applies not only to the balm, but generally when using the glue.

If you continue to pull the lotion too high or use a pad that is too large, the lashes simply have no hold, because the lotion produces a heat when it acts and thus makes the balm soft and thus allows the lashes to loosen with too little hold.

What is the best way to apply the Glue Balm?
You can use any tool for this. For example, we like to work with our silicone brushes or especially with the Lashlift Brush!
